・Oku-Iya Double Kazura Bridge
This is a healing spot surrounded by rich nature. It is said to have been built by the Heike Clan to go to the “Heike’s stable” on Mt. Tsurugi.
Winter (December - March)
・ Vine Bridge in Iya and Biwa Waterfall
The bridge is said to be built by fleeing members of the Heike clan who lost in battles. A legend says that they missed then-capital Kyoto and played biwa, a string instrument, by the waterfall.
・Oboke Gorge Sightseeing Boat
The Oboke Gorge, flanked by towering marble sculptures, offers a thrilling boat ride. The clear stream is also decorated with cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in fall.
