In the Edo period, everyone admired visiting Ise. Furthermore, there were travelers who walked from there to Kumano. Once you step foot on the cobblestone pavement and experience the feelings of such travelers, you are already in the Edo period. Looking like a trip straight out of Ukiyo-e, we invite you to an authentic, nostalgic historical experience. This plan is a rental of Edo period style travel costumes (with dressing support). Let's try dressing together with the staff. After getting dressed, spend as much time as you like, such as the World Heritage Site Kumano Kodo “Magoshi Pass” and Roadside Station Kaisan. The cobblestones from the Edo period are a treasure trove of beautiful spots! You can enjoy the feeling that you have traveled back in time to the Edo period.

Roadside Station Kaisan to Kumano Kodo “Magoshi Pass” Night Weeping Jizo (round trip about 1 hour) *The experience time is about 2 to 2 and a half hours, including dressing.
The storyteller from Kumano Kodo will guide you to Night Weeping Jizo. It is a plan where you can go down the mountain at your own pace with guidance only on the outbound route.
If you wish, you can go down the mountain with the storyteller on your way back home. ※In case of rain, the cobblestones are slippery, so it will be canceled. [Up to 6 people]

・You can select “Women's” and “Men's” on the reservation application screen.
[About returns]
・Please return it at Roadside Station Miyama 1st floor by 16:00 on the day of rental.
[About when it rains]
・The cobblestone road is slippery, so we have decided to cancel due to safety considerations. Whether or not the event can be held will be decided the day before.
[Others]
・Please refrain from wearing perfume.
・Please bring your own drinks.
What you need
[Those who would like costumes for men]
・Please prepare a thin inner shirt to wear under the kimono (U-shaped or V-shaped one that is hard to see from under the kimono. (If possible, black or navy blue is recommended so that it doesn't stand out).
[Those who would like costumes for women and children]
・Please prepare a camisole to wear under a kimono, leggings (tights not allowed), etc.
[Others]
・Winter can be cold, so be sure to bring a thin inner shirt (U- or V-shaped HEATTECH, etc.), leggings (tights not allowed), arm warmers, leg warmers, etc. that won't resonate when worn under a kimono.

● Roadside Station Seamount Meeting/Reception (approx. 5 minutes) Staff greet you, explain the experience, and introduce recommended photo spots ● Choose your favorite costume and transform into a traveling look (approx. 40 minutes) and try dressing up with the staff! I'm going to change into my travel outfit. [Things to wear: kimono (long undershirt), obi, handcuffs, leg ties, foot bags, straw jacket, hat, cane)] ● Let's go! Become a traveler in the Edo period and go back to the Edo period! 〈You can do whatever you want from here on out〉→ It's a 7-minute walk to the entrance of Magoshi Pass. The cobblestone path at Magoshi Pass is a photo spot no matter where you cut it. Find your favorite places. [Return time] Please return it by 16:00 on the day you rent it.
