Information
① Daianzenji Temple “Senjojiki” tour
First, go to Senjojiki (Senjojiki) on the grounds of Daianzenji Temple.
Senjojiki is the mausoleum of the successive lords of the Fukui Domain, which has been certified as a Japan Heritage Site.
An Aoi crest is placed on the gate, and 1,360 pieces of Fukui's famous stone, the shakudani stone (shakudani stone), are spread out underfoot.
② Chair Zazen
Move indoors from Senjojiki and start the zazen meditation experience. Zazen this time is “chair zazen,” which is performed while sitting on a chair. Even those who are not good at zazen meditation, or those with weak legs, can easily perform zazen meditation without being burdensome.
I feel that my back has stretched even if I just relax and sit shallowly without strength from my body.
As I take a deep breath, I feel my mind calm down.
③ Creating a miniature garden
Finally, it's time to create a miniature garden for Omachi Kane.
Let's start by choosing materials. We will select “vessels,” “stones,” “moss,” and “sand.”
The vessel is “Echizen lacquerware.” This time, I'm using Echizen lacquerware lacquerware Kyutaro's pottery.
The stone is “Kotsuya Stone.” It is a stone that was often used in Senjojiki, which I visited earlier, and when wetted with water, it changes to a deep blue color, and is also called “blue stone.”
Fill the bowl with sand and try it over and over until you have a garden you like, and create a miniature garden perfect for your current mood.
The vessels, stones, sand, and moss used in the workshop are put back together and taken home.
You can create a miniature garden as many times as you like according to the mood of the day, so it's perfect for relaxing time at home. Once you've created your favorite miniature garden, you can enjoy it as an interior decoration.
④ Matcha
After the workshop is over, we will enjoy delicious matcha while talking ♪
I feel that my mind was refreshed before and after experiencing the tour.
The business offering the experience will reply to you within5days whether the reservation has gone through or not.
Please note that the payment will not be processed until we receive a response from you.
