Koryo-cho is the town of socks. Excellent sock craftsmanship has been passed down for over 100 years, and now it is “the number one socks producer in Japan.” At a factory rooted in the community, you can experience the history of the sock industry on a factory tour and “My Socks” making. Choose the type of socks and your favorite color from several colors (up to 3 colors/3 colors for the toe, heel, and overall part) to make My socks! After being knitted with a machine used for sock production every day, experience the production process, from the work of sewing on the toe to adjust the shape by applying steam to the packaging. Of course you can take the socks you made home! After the experience, you can enjoy lunch and a tasting of Japanese sake at a sake brewery loved by the local community. Let's also enjoy Nara, the birthplace of Japanese sake.
・An English-speaking guide will drive the car.
