Precautions
[Boarding Precautions]
SHIRASE is different from your everyday space. There are many dangerous places.
Please be aware of the need to be safe while observing the following precautions.
-There are many dangerous places on the SHIRASE
Please note that you cannot enter any area other than the designated route (except during guided tours and events). The surface of the deck is rough, so there is a risk of injury if you fall. Do not run except in an emergency. There are steep stairs, steps, and narrow passages. Please be careful of your safety when boarding the SHIRASE.
- Requests for infants and elderly people
If you are accompanied by an infant, please hold the child by the hand. If necessary, please escort the elderly.
- What to wear when boarding
People wearing heels, sandals, short skirts, etc. will not be allowed to board. Please be careful as clothes may be blown away by the wind on the deck.
- How to walk outside the ship
At the wharf where the ship is moored, please proceed to the boarding gate within the frame of the orange pole. Also, there is a lot of traffic near the crosswalk, so please check both sides before crossing the wharf. Please be careful as there are places where you may trip because there are reflectors embedded in the road. When you arrive in front of the ship, please climb the stairs to board. Please note that the angle of these stairs changes depending on the tide level.
- Please drink alcohol after finishing the tour
People who are drinking or under the influence of alcohol will not be allowed to board. If you are going to drink alcohol, please do so after the tour.
・Please eat and drink in the designated area.
There are rest areas on board. You can eat and drink there (alcohol is not allowed). There are no smoking areas.
・Once on board, please follow the instructions of the crew.
In the unlikely event of an emergency such as a fire or tsunami, a nearby crew member will guide you to a safe place. Please follow the instructions and act calmly.
・Pets and animals are not allowed on board.
Pets and animals are not allowed on board (even in a cage). There is also no place to tie up pets on the quay. Thank you for your understanding.
・About cancellations
Cancellation fees are free until 23:59 the day before. Cancellations on the day of the tour will incur a 50% charge.
