Two-Day Tour of Tango and Miyazu: Exploring Amanohashidate, One of Japan's Three Scenic Views, and Ine's Funaya Boathouses activity

Bokun ID:
967443
Product Code:

This is a fulfilling journey through Tango and Miyazu, where you can view Amanohashidate, one of Japan's Three Scenic Views, and Ine's Funaya boathouses by sightseeing boat. You'll also learn about the World Heritage of Food "Ugo", experience Japanese sword forging, and visit a sake brewery.

Course Content

- The historic Funaya boathouses in Ine have a unique structure with the first floor serving as a boat garage and the second floor as living quarters. Built right on the water's edge, they appear to be floating on the sea when viewed from the water.

- "Ugo" was the first food from Kyoto Prefecture to be registered as World Heritage of Food. Its main ingredient, Egonori seaweed, grows entangled with larger seaweeds in relatively calm waters. Enjoy making bottled "Ugo" products and tasting them.

- The Japanese sword forging experience includes a tour of the "forge" where Japanese swords are made and a chance to try hammering. You can experience part of the traditional Japanese sword manufacturing process without using machines.
