Fukui Prefecture is the birthplace of “Koshihikari” rice and is known as one of Japan's leading rice-producing regions. Sake brewing begins with the selection of rice. Fukui also produces sake rice, which is used to make high-quality sake.

In this experience, visitors can sample three types of sake produced at more than 30 sake breweries in Fukui Prefecture, each about 60 ml in a sake cup. The sake tasting is an exceptional opportunity to experience the differences in sake production methods, such as Junmai ginjo sake, while also learning about the sake breweries and their makers. Why not enjoy the world of unique local sake to the fullest?
