The island is known for its peonies, Unshuu ginseng, and other agricultural products. You can spend time before and after the plan exploring, walking, and eating at a leisurely pace.
Highlights
Doushin no Koyado Namiji is a guesthouse renovated from a 90-year-old traditional house. With high ceilings, sturdy thick beams, and an irori (traditional sunken hearth), it's a place where you can feel old Japanese lifestyle and return to childhood, away from the busy everyday life. You'll make pizza (for lunch) in a handmade stone oven using vegetables grown on Daikon Island. Afterwards, you can spend relaxing time in a sauna using lava stones from Daikon Island.
It is convenient to use the JR-WEST RAIL PASS Kansai-San'in Area Pass to get to the meeting place.
