This hands-on class takes marine plastic waste collected in Wakasa Bay, Fukui Prefecture, and transforms it into fashionable and colorful coasters. "Upcycling” is the process of upgrading waste and unused products that would otherwise be thrown away into new products of greater value, and upcycling is known as a means of achieving the SDGs.
