We welcome Mr. Yamada from Yamada Nenjudo, a long-established store founded in 1861, as your instructor.

In this special program, you will learn about the history and charm of traditional Japanese rosaries(nenju) while making your own one-of-a-kind piece using natural materials.

By twisting the strands by hand and finishing your work with care, you can experience the craftsmanship and the spirit of prayer.

The rosary you create will become a unique and meaningful souvenir from your visit

12:15 pm Choose your preferred rosary materials (8 types available)

12:30 pm English commentary by Mr. Yamada (approx. 15 minutes)

12:45 pm Rosary and scent pouch (kaori bag) making experience

2:00 pm Experience ends/ Souvenir handover
