Immerse yourself in Mima's traditional culture in this guided tour! Visit Wakimachi's Udatsu Townscape, where the indigo trade once thrived, and learn from the locals themselves all the secrets of "udatsu".

Lunch will be served at Yoshida Family Residence, the former home of Naobei Yoshida, one of the most famous indigo merchants in Wakimachi. The meal consists of fresh seasonal ingredients served in a "yusanbako" box that residents of Tokushima historically used when venturing into the mountains. In the afternoon, try your hand at indigo dyeing! You can make your own unique pattern on a handkerchief or scarf for the perfect souvenir.
