A Scenic Journey through Shimanami’s Three Highlights

This tour takes you to three breathtaking viewpoints along the Shimanami Kaido:

1. A relaxing E-bike ride across the Kurushima Kaikyō Bridge, the world’s first triple suspension bridge

2. Panoramic views from Mt. Kirosan Observatory, one of Japan’s top three scenic viewpoints

3. A thrilling sightseeing cruise through the powerful tidal currents of the Kurushima Strait

Cycle across the grand Kurushima Kaikyō Bridge, which spans one of Japan’s Three Great Tidal Currents. Along the way, your guide will lead you to photo spots and take you by elevator to Umashima Island, where you can enjoy a scenic break.

After that, enjoy a seafood BBQ lunch at Yoshiumi Iki-Iki Kan.
Then board a sightseeing boat to experience the dramatic tides of the Kurushima Strait up close and enjoy a cruise around Hatohama Port, home to the world-class Imabari Shipbuilding.

The tour concludes with breathtaking views from Mt. Kirosan Observatory Park, designed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma.

• Same day before tour departure: 50% of the tour fee
