A wind hole for producing and nurturing silkworm eggs, a silk mill that produces raw silk from silkworm cocoons, and the Takayama-Sha site that improved and taught sericulture methods.
At Takayama-Sha, which is currently undergoing restoration work on the main building and silk room, you can also catch a glimpse of a palace carpenter working with old materials.
