Akiyoshido cave
One of the largest limestone caves in Japan. Designated as a special natural treasure in 1952,and the general sightseeing course is about 1 km long, and the temperature inside the cave is a constant 17 degrees all year round, making it cool in summer and warm in winter.

Access: 45 minutes by bus from Shin-Yamaguchi Station. Parking: Free for exclusive use by large tour buses (separate parking lot).
Cave Entry Reception and Opening Hours: 8:30-17:30, Cave Closes at 18:30 *March-November (Regular Season)
8:30-16:30, Cave Closes at 17:30 *December-February (Off-Season)
*Entry from Kurodani entrance and elevator entrance until 16:30
